Building a big-block Chevelle is one thing, but pairing a 502ci V8 with a Tremec five-speed manual turns this '67 into a legitimate driver's car. This body-off restoration strikes a clean, modern chord with its Silver Metallic finish and smoothed firewall, ditching the cluttered engine bays of the past for a March billet drive and Holley Sniper EFI. It's got a serious stance thanks to a full Hotchkis suspension setup and staggered 17-inch Vision wheels that barely hide those six-piston Wilwoods. With only 3,000 miles since the build and a 3.73-geared 12-bolt rear end, it's a well done cruiser which can unleash that raw big block power as needed.

Description

This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sports coupe underwent a body-off refurbishment and modification completed in 2013. The build integrated a 502ci V8 and a Tremec five-speed manual transmission alongside comprehensive updates to the suspension and braking systems. Finished in silver metallic over a black vinyl interior, the car features Holley Sniper EFI, Hotchkis suspension components, and Wilwood disc brakes. The vehicle was acquired by the current seller from Bring a Trailer in December of 2025. It is now offered by the private seller with clean New York registration/transferrable title. The vehicle is located in Highland, New York.

The exterior was refinished in silver metallic during the 2013 restoration. Styling details include a twin-dome hood, tinted windows, SS-style emblems, and finned rocker panel moldings. The front end is characterized by a black-finished grille and headlight surrounds, while the hood operates on Eddie Motorsports billet hinges.

Chrome-finished 17″ Vision Legend wheels are mounted with Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires measuring 245/45 at the front and 305/45 at the rear. Also visible are the 6 piston front Wilwood disc brakes.

The engine bay houses a 502ci V8 featuring Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection and a March billet accessory drive. Technical highlights include MSD ignition, a Powermaster high-torque starter, and a cooling system consisting of an aluminum radiator and SPAL electric fans. The firewall was modified and smoothed during the build. Power is routed through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission with a Centerforce clutch to a 12-bolt rear axle equipped with a limited-slip differential, 3.73:1 gearing, and an aluminum cover.

The chassis is equipped with a Hotchkis suspension system featuring uprated dampers, front and rear sway bars, and boxed rear control arms. The power-assisted braking system utilizes Wilwood six-piston red calipers over slotted and drilled rotors at all four corners.

The exhaust system features Hooker ceramic-coated headers feeding into an H-pipe configuration with Flowmaster mufflers. The underbody reflects the 2013 body-off restoration with a clean and finished appearance.

The cabin is outfitted with front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with color-coordinated carpets and Chevelle-branded floor mats. Modern conveniences include air conditioning, a Hurst shifter, a Carmount phone mount, and a Kenwood Bluetooth receiver linked to aftermarket speakers. A four-spoke steering wheel fronts a column-mounted AutoMeter tachometer and a Dakota Digital instrument cluster that retains a factory appearance. Approximately 3,000 miles are shown on the odometer, though total chassis mileage is unknown.
