The Ultimate Marketplace for Classic & Modified Cars
At RestoMods.com, we believe classic cars aren't relics of the past—they're canvases for the future. Since 2014, our mission has been to celebrate the raw power of American muscle while embracing modern performance. What began as a small classifieds site has grown into a premier destination for the restomod lifestyle.
We built our name through legendary giveaways, putting keys to incredible builds—from supercharged '69 Chevelles to cruise-ready Chargers—into the hands of enthusiasts. Along the way, we developed a deep understanding of what makes a vehicle truly exceptional. As our community grew, we saw a gap: traditional auction platforms treat a modified '67 Mustang the same as a stock daily driver. But restomods demand a more knowledgeable audience—one that values craftsmanship, performance, and detail.
That's why we launched Auction on RestoMods—a transparent, enthusiast-driven marketplace built for this world. Designed by people who know the difference between driver-quality and concours-level builds, it's a place where buyers and sellers connect with confidence. Whether you're searching for your next build or passing one on, RestoMods.com is your garage—preserving the art of the build and keeping the spirit of the V8 alive.
Chris founded RestoMods.com in 2014 back when the word "restomod" was barely in the American lexicon. He has made it his mission for over a decade to get more and more classic muscle cars back on the road better than new and into the hands of true enthusiasts. In 2026 he added BuyTheCar.com to that mission so that enthusiasts could have their own dedicated platform to buy and sell restored and modified classics at auction. A San Diego native, Chris grew up in rich SoCal classic car culture and has always had a passion for enjoying classic American muscle cars. He's owned everything from classic Chevy trucks to Ford Mustangs and beyond.
Jeremy is not only the VP of RestoMods, but he embodies the true Jack of All Trades. Since he first came onboard in 2019, you could find him editing videos, running ads, managing business, and even wrenching on cars sometimes all in the same day. Originally from Indiana, Jeremy has known and appreciated classic muscle cars closely his entire life, and you can catch him high tailing it to a classic car show with his daughter all around San Diego.
Growing up in San Diego, Chris Esparza often found himself influenced by his dad's wild passion for classic cars and that torch was passed down to Chris when he got his associates degree in Automotive Technology from Cuyamaca College and became a classic car mechanic 20 years ago. His resumé is one of prestige: he's done amazing work at Hot Rods & Custom Stuff, H&N Performance, Mustang Auto of El Cajon, The Webb Smith Collection, Mustang Shop of San Diego, and currently for over 6 years building people's dream muscle cars at RestoMods.
Reegan first joined RestoMods in 2021 as an apprentice and has honed his skills over the years to be a crucial asset to the garage staff. Originally from Canada, Reegan came to America with a love and passion for automobiles and found his home restoring and modifying classics. He's a Porsche guy at heart but a big block V8 still puts a massive smile on his face.
TJ has not only built muscle cars in his own garage (he swapped a turbo 1JZ into his Chevy Nova) but he's been a bonafide mechanic at well known SoCal shops like Sharpe Automotive Customs and JBA Speed Shop, and currently at RestoMods. He holds an associates degree in Automotive Technology from Cuyamaca College and loves just about any type of car that goes fast.
Joe first joined RestoMods in 2019 and has been an integral part of RestoMods's development into a major brand. Originally from Chico, California, Joe grew up hearing his dad's stories of burning rubber in Dodge Chargers and Chevy hot rod trucks, and it influenced Joe's own love for muscle cars. He owns his dream car, a 2007 Shelby GT500; a car he's idolized since it made its debut in the hit Will Smith film I Am Legend in 2007 when Joe was just 13 years old.
Since 2014 we've built a community of classic car lovers and made it our mission of keeping classics on the road.
