Finding a real, numbers-matching 1970 GTO is a win, but finding one that's been built to actually handle modern speeds on today's highways is even better. You're getting the original 400ci V8 but instead of the old three-speed automatic, you get a better 4 speed 200R4 overdrive automatic transmission, making it a legitimate long-distance cruiser. With a fresh rebuild, Holley Sniper EFI, and a full Hotchkis suspension kit, this car has been sharpened into a "Judge" tribute that doesn't just look the part--it stops and turns like a modern machine thanks to four-wheel power discs and upgraded geometry. You're getting your hands on a well-documented Pontiac that balances its factory pedigree with the kind of usability you rarely see in a 50-year-old muscle car.

Description

This 1970 Pontiac GTO is a real, numbers-matching example powered by its original 400 CID V8, 200R4 4-Speed Automatic transmission, and upgraded Hotchkis suspension system come together to make a well-optioned and thoughtfully upgraded classic. Documented with receipts, this GTO has been maintained and improved with usability in mind. The vehicle is being offered with a clean Florida title by the selling dealer Survivor Classic Car Services (Dealer ID# V1/1128222/1). The vehicle is located in Palmetto, Florida.

Finished in Polar White, the car features added Judge-style vinyl graphics to complete the tribute look. It sits on American Racing Torque Thrust alloy wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires.

Power comes from the numbers-matching 400 CID V8, rebuilt within the last 5,000 miles and upgraded with a Holley Sniper EFI system for improved reliability and performance. It is paired with a 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission, offering overdrive capability for highway driving. The rear end retains its original Positraction with 3.55 gearing. Additional upgrades include an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, Doug's headers, Magnaflow mufflers, and a new fuel tank. The car runs on 91 octane or lower fuel.

The interior features black vinyl bucket seats with a center console and floor-mounted shifter. Recent updates include new carpet and floor mats. The cabin is equipped with air conditioning, AM/FM radio, courtesy lighting, and a heater/defroster. Woodgrain accents on the dash and steering wheel are noted, while padded sun visors and dash complete the factory-style presentation.

This GTO has been upgraded with a Hotchkis suspension system in both the front and rear of the car. It is also equipped with power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes.

Does everything work, radio, all gauges, AC, and the seats appear to be blue in the pictures, how many speakers, and what is a tribute car mean?hat is a tribute car me

Most likely a tempest or Lemans cloned to be a GTO judge. Just my opinion.
survivorcars Seller May 14, 6:11 am PDT
No, it is a real GTO, it is cloned to a Judge. 242 in the VIN tells you it's a real GTO. I will get your other questions answered today. Thanks!

Everything works except the clock. Seats are black. I can kind of see what you mean in the main interior shot on here, but if you look at the rest of the photos and watch the video the interior is clearly black.
