Wrench Report
RestoMods Head Mechanic. 20 year classic car mechanic & builder.
I'm a sucker for a cool wagon and this is exactly that. I had the pleasure of looking at this Nova at SEMA and there is a lot going on with this build. The body work and paint is laser straight and there was a ton of money put into the suspension and drivetrain to make this a show stopper. All the fancy billet details give you a hint as to the level this build was taken to. The built 6.2 LS engine would probably be enough power for me but if it isn't for you they went ahead and added nitrous! The interior is just another aspect of this build that is high end. I will say there is a lot going on with the color scheme that incorporates blue, white, black and grays between the interior and exterior but somehow it all works together nicely. It's got VintageAir A/C so that you'll feel as cool as this Nova looks. This is a high level pro build with all the right parts and the rarity of the long roof adds major style points for you and as many people as you want to load up and cruise with.
Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II 400 Nova Station Wagon is one of just 13,000 units that rolled off the factory floor for the '67 model year. Originally equipped with an inline-6, this Nova Station Wagon now features a 500HP 6.0L LS and extensive restoration and modification work that was done together by popular SEMA builder Nostalgia Hot Rods and the aftermarket performance brand FiTech. The vehicle was built for display in FiTech's booth at the 2024 SEMA Show, but is also a fully operable car with many custom features. This Nova Wagon is now being offered with a clean California title by a private seller out of Riverside, California.

Starting off with the exterior, the vehicle's bodywork and paint was completed by Nostalgia Hot Rods. Work also included a rotisserie restoration of the body and powder coating of the frame. In addition, Nostalgia Hot Rods also fabricated and installed many of the existing suspension components, painted the car in a two tone blue and white color scheme, and then subsequently sold the vehicle to FiTech, who would go on to finish assembly and additional modifications. FiTech had all new trim installed, courtesy of custom billet pieces from EvansCNC, including custom billet with FiTech's logo emblazoned on the front fenders and traditional Nova script badges elsewhere on the car. The vehicle also has all LED exterior lighting, new glass, and Eddie motorsports door handles and mirrors.

Prominently featured are the American Racing 20 inch VF557 "Sugar Bomb" wheels that debuted on the vehicle at the SEMA Show. The wheels are wrapped in Falken FK510 tires (245/30/20 front; 275/30/20 rear). The FiTech logo can be seen above in the custom side trim.

The 6.0L LS engine is said to have been built by L&R Engines out of Santa Fe Springs, California and estimated to produce around 500HP on pump gas. Modifications to the engine include a displacement increase to 6.2L, FiTech's Nitro Port EFI system, and forged internals that support 30lbs of boost. Also equipped is FiTech's drive-by-wire throttle body, a new wiring harness, Eddie Motorsports front runner accessory drive and hood hinges, Champion aluminum radiator with a single electric fan, and a gloss white engine bay color matched to the roof and pillars. Connected to the engine are ceramic headers that flow into a stainless exhaust system. The engine is linked up to a 4L80E automatic transmission built by Hughes Performance.

The engine is also hooked up to a 250 shot nitrous setup from Nitrous Supply Company, further increasing horsepower and torque.

The Nova Wagon's suspension has been completely overhauled with a TCI front clip, TCI parallel 4-link rear, and QA1 coilover shocks. Also equipped are Wilwood 14 inch disc brakes with 6 piston calipers in the front and 4 piston calipers in the rear. Connected to the rear suspension set up is a GM 12-bolt rear end.

The Nova's interior has been completely replaced and now features custom one-off leather TMI front seats, rear seats, dashboard leather, door panels, and Eddie Motorsports window cranks and door openers. The interior lighting is all converted to LEDs. The trunk features new carpet, the installed Nitrous Supply nitrous tank, and a Kicker audio system that is currently not hooked up.

The vehicle was also upgraded with VintageAir A/C, an Eddie Motorsports leather wrapped steering wheel, Flaming River steering column, Dakota Digital Gauges, restored dashboard, new carpet, and a fiberglass center console with cupholders and a modern radio head unit.

Well this wagon got a glow up. Great build + the nitrous for the added touch.
