Nailed the patina sleeper truck aesthetic with this one. The 6.0 liter LS has been nicely dressed in a very clean engine bay, and if you look at the photos of the interior you can see a lot of work went into modernizing the cab. The Choppin' Block air-ride chassis and all the clean suspension components is where this truck really stands out to me. This is a dream Chevy truck for any guy who wants to cruise, air out and turn heads with that bright red patina.
Description
This 1963 Chevrolet C20 is a full-custom restomod pickup that has been extensively modified with an air-ride chassis, a 6.0-liter V8, and a bespoke luxury interior. The truck utilizes a factory-patinated exterior that has been preserved under clear coat, paired with a custom big-back-window conversion and staggered 22-inch and 24-inch wheels. The vehicle was completely disassembled for the build, which integrated modern digital controls, a high-fidelity 13-speaker audio system, and hidden mechanical plumbing throughout. It is now offered by the private seller with a clean New Mexico title.

The exterior retains its original red patina, which was feathered to smooth out imperfections and sealed beneath a protective clear coat. The cab was converted to a factory-style big-back-window configuration, and new chrome bumpers, door handles, a passenger-side mirror, and LED taillights were installed. The cargo bed was rebuilt with a raised floor featuring custom bead-rolled panels, handmade wheel tubs, a recessed fuel filler cap, and a handmade center lid with BMW latches for suspension access. An Accuair control mount and charging port are hidden behind the tailgate.

The truck rides on US Mags Plain Janes wheels, measuring 22x8.5 inches up front and 24x10 inches in the rear, finished in gloss bronze charcoal grey with Chevrolet hubcaps and Pirelli P-Zero tires.

The engine bay features a smoothed firewall with a recessed electrical shelf, custom bead rolling, handmade wheel tubs, a handmade core cover, and firewall-mounted hood hinges. Power is provided by a GM 6.0-liter V8 equipped with a Comp Cams Thumper camshaft, a Holley intake manifold, an Aeromotive oil catch can system, and a retro throttle body adapted to mimic the appearance of a carbureted small-block Chevy with a custom air cleaner. Cooling is managed by a custom US Radiators aluminum radiator and dual 14-inch Delta PAG fans producing 5200 CFM under digital control. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6L90 automatic transmission, a custom 1,000-hp rated Inland Empire two-piece driveshaft, and a Quick Performance Ford 9-inch rear end with 31-spline axles and an Eaton Truetrac Posi-traction differential.

The truck sits on a full aftermarket Choppin' Block air-ride chassis that allows the lower rocker pinch welds to touch the ground when fully aired out. The frame is powder-coated satin gold with satin black components, while the underside of the truck is protected by a black textured coating. Suspension and brake lines are zinc-plated in gold. The air system features an Accuair VT tank, dual Viair 485 compressors, and an e-Level system with wires and lines routed internally through the frame. Braking is handled by an E-Stopp parking brake and 13-inch McGaughy drilled and slotted kits with 2-inch dropped spindles at all four corners, fed by a Master Power Brakes pedal unit and a billet master cylinder reservoir.

The cabin features a custom Glide Engineering bench seat and door panels upholstered in Relicate leather with plaid inserts, complemented by Relicate wool carpeting. The steel dashboard was modified with a center hump for an iPad mount, which controls a hidden Bluetooth receiver linked to a 13-speaker Hertz Mille Pro Series sound system powered by three AudioControl amplifiers and two 10-inch JL Audio slimline subwoofers. Driver amenities include a Restomod Air Haymaker climate control system with custom valance vents, Dakota Digital gauges, an Ididit steering column, a Lecarra Mark 10 steering wheel, and Nu-Relic power windows operated by electric door handle switches. New weatherstripping and replacement glass were installed throughout.
